Book tastes

I like to read a bit of everything - character-driven literary/book club fiction, historical fiction, science fiction and fantasy, short stories... I'm especially interested in books by writers from the global majority/marginalised backgrounds, and/or those published by indie presses, but I do also read outside of those preferences.
If it helps, some of my favourite reads of the year so far have been In Ascension, Brotherless Night, To Paradise, and Glimpse: An Anthology of Black British Speculative Fiction. I absolutely *loved* In Ascension, so anything with a similar vibe would be appreciated!

Very dark/gory fiction.

Other notes

My library is up to date with what I already own and have to read (My library + To read), and should be a good reflection of my tastes. Feel free to pick something from my horrendously long wishlist!
