Book tastes

I like literary, genre (SF and some fantasy), and contemporary fiction genre. I read a good bit of history with a particular interest in military and political history, on the more academic side is preferred. Catholic theology, spirituality, and history are also well read, though I’m a bit more picky about authorship in that area. Any school of classical through medieval philosophy are also great.
I like the physicality of books, so any cool printings or editions, well as any books that present a unique form to present their story.
I’ve been wanting to shore up my library with more BIPOC and Women authors. I’ve also been trying to read more books in translation, particularly Asian authors, but anywhere is good.

Don't get this!

LGBTQIA+ themes, romance, mystery, occult, most YA, and anything explicitly anti-Catholic.

Other notes

My library is up to date. My wishlist is basically a list of every book I’ve seen or heard of that has interested me, so it’s very long and at times eclectic. My To Read list may be a better idea of what I’m interested in reading right now, but feel free to get a good idea of my tastes based off of any of the book in any of my collection.
