Book tastes

I love horror and science fiction (both classic and contemporary). I absolutely love almost everything I've read by Ray Bradbury, Angela Carter, Daphne du Maurier, Christopher Golden, Joe Hill, Shirley Jackson, Stephen Graham Jones, and Stephen King. (Diverse authors are lovely!)

Don't get this!

Please, please, please do not get anything romance, romance-adjacent, or any books where romance is a significant subplot. I get annoyed and the book ends up pitched across the room.

Other notes

I'm a librarian and I have read fairly widely (as you might be able to tell from my reading lists), but I am always on the lookout for more books and new authors.
