Book tastes

Fiction-- escapism whether mystery or historical fiction, it's all good. Nothing too challenging to read level-wise. I'm also a genealogist, so anything that tempts my appetite there is good.

Don't get this!

Anything too literary. I want easy reads.

Secret Santa

greenleaf's Secret Santa was Allyss!

Allyss: I hope you like my suggestions! I also considered "Murder on Astor Place -

Victoria Thompson", but it was on special order only. (Dec 3, 2023, 7:45pm)
EerierIdyllMeme: Not a book, but you might like Origines, a French mystery series about a crime solving genealogist. It doesn't seem to be based on books, as far as I could find.

You might also like generational sagas, but a lot of those are chonks, rather than easy reading. (Nov 29, 2023, 8:35pm)
HuberK: Maggie Osborne - historical fiction. (Nov 29, 2023, 6:17pm)
HuberK: Maggie Osborne for historical fiction. (Nov 29, 2023, 6:14pm)
MDGentleReader: Hiding the Past is the first in a forensic genealogist series. (Nov 24, 2023, 12:17am)
