Book tastes

Please take a look at my library to make sure I don’t get something I already have. All the books there I either own or have read. I love: magical realism, women’s fiction, historical fiction, mysteries, thrillers, and books set in the UK, Ireland, Venice. Books set in the Us are great too. Christian fiction is okay if it has a good plot and is well written. Favorite authors (that I’ve read all or most of): Jennifer Weiner, Deborah Harkness, Emily Henry, Brunonia Barry, Alice Hoffman,

Don't get this!

Science fiction, fantasy, non fiction (unless it basically reads like a novel).

Other notes

I love new authors that aren’t in my collection. I like books that grab me from the very beginning. I love books that have unexpected twists.
