Book tastes

I mostly read romances, some of my favorite authors are Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez, and Christina Lauren. I don't always love second chance romances (Happy Place was my least favorite Emily Henry book) but all other tropes are fair game. I just got into fantasy/romance this year reading Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and the ACOTR series and loved them all. I like to start at the beginning of a series even if they can be standalones.

Don't get this!

British novels, mysteries

Other notes

I read and enjoy all spice level romances, except those with zero spice.

$17.99 (Dec 4, 2023, 1:43pm)
HeathMochaFrost: (2nd) And after you switch out the large print for the regular trade paperback, you can add Can't Escape Love by Alyssa Cole, ISBN 9780062931900, at $4.99, or something that costs slightly more. (Dec 4, 2023, 6:25am)
HeathMochaFrost: !!!!! That copy of [American Royalty] by Tracey Livesay is like $27 (!!!) and appears to be a LARGE PRINT paperback. The regular trade paperback is about $16 new; that ISBN is 9780063084506. I strongly suggest a switch!!! (Dec 4, 2023, 5:25am)
MDGentleReader: House of Earth and Blood is recommended byubraryThing if one likes Fourth wing. I have not read either one, though. (Dec 4, 2023, 1:00am)
MDGentleReader: From books littlemuls should borrow from me, first in series: Spoiler Alert,

Note that this is in my to read list, might want to check details to see if this is an appropriate choice. (Dec 4, 2023, 12:55am)
bell7: Freya Marske's trilogy that begins with "A Marvellous Light" is a queer fantasy/romance with a high spice level

And I haven't read it yet, but The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Stewart was blurbed by Sarah J. Maas and looks really good. (Nov 20, 2023, 7:04pm)
