Book tastes

I have a small list of genres below, but generally speaking, I'm interested in storytelling and would love a well-crafted book. I'm open to all genres and would like something you have recently read and loved.
Fantasy, LGBTQIA+, romance, adventure

Don't get this!

Anything dealing with heavy trauma. I most likely have read anything on a bestseller list. Not a fan of thrillers.

Other notes

Would prefer mid pace book with nice world building. Paperback, please!
