Book tastes

He loves mysteries/thrillers (Dan Brown is one of his favorite authors) and Young Adult dystopian series (such as Hunger Games, Divergent, Shadow & Bone, and Scythe). He also likes fantasy (such as Lord of the Rings) and sci-fi (he really enjoyed Project Hail Mary). Other favorite series for him are A Series of Unfortunate Events and the Dark Tower.

Don't get this!

Our whole family shares the same catalog, so my books can be checked for what not to get for my husband. Also, he has audiobooks of Digital Fortress and Deception Point by Dan Brown, so don't get him those.

Other notes

He is reading A Game of Thrones right now and seems to be enjoying it, but I worry that extremely graphic violence might bother him- he really does not like ultraviolent movies.
