Book tastes

My interests are wide (from my profile): Biography, American and New York State history, European medieval and Renaissance history, costume history, design and construction, photography, architecture, art and artists, mystery, urban and historical fantasy, theater, classic fiction, children's fiction and illustration, fairytales/folktales, mythology, LGBT history and fiction, fashion and fashion history, Celtic lore.
My library is pretty large, especially the LGBT shelves. I have the complete Neil Gaiman, Tad Williams, Ken Follett, Armistead Maupin, Fannie Flagg, Dorothy Dunnett, Charles de Lint just off the top of my head.

Don't get this!

Sci-fi -- just never got into it.

karenb: Mildly surprised that Santee has not yet read the Freya Marske queer historical fantasy trilogy; the first book is A Marvellous Light (2022, 9781250831798, $18.99).

For photography books, Vivian Maier is a comparatively recent (re)discovery. She was a street photographer in Chicago whose photo archive came to light somewhat by accident. (Several books are available now, at various price points.) (Dec 4, 2023, 11:38am)
